The till - simplicity is everything!
Anyone who has worked in a shop and operated a cash register can use the Connect EPoS till. Yet you get powerful features like management of special orders, deposits, and back orders. With instant visibility of stock at any location (even on back order), and bar-coded receipts to reduce theft from returns, Connect converts a till into a great tool for your staff.
Staff management and till security
With Connect you can incentivise your staff to sell more by up-selling and cross-selling. You can do this because Connect gives you the relevant information. There are other plusses; you can measure the results of changing opening hours and find out when you are busiest. You can even see the impact of moving products around the store. In retail stores where staff are handling cash every day, it is good practice that they know you are able to track till activity. The till is very secure so you can rely on your staff to cash up, give change and take gift receipts because everything is recorded.
Better customer service
Most retailers say that an EPoS system makes the store look more professional and gives customers greater confidence in the business. Connect EPoS also helps your staff sell more as the visual stock tree makes it so quick to find information on items, as well as locate products and find alternatives.

In Connect, the Purchase Order facility designed the way merchants really want it to work. Quick and simple yet flexible. Connect has an intelligent reorder engine that analyses sales flow as well as minimum stock quantities to suggest a re-order profile for you. Then you can print off orders for each supplier in a click. It's that fast.
Connect has helped us to easily keep track of stock levels and see which items are selling and which items aren't. That allows us to make better buying choices. We now buy in smaller quantities, more frequently which saves money.
Manage all aspects of your product portfolio from one simple area. Add an image and Connect will size it for your Retail system and your website, so you can see the image anywhere. Managing new and updated products is easy in Connect with tools like Import Wizard to import thousands of items at once (including images), as well as Mass Price Updater to give you controls to alter price structures and costs in a few clicks.
Adding a new sales channel
The Multichannel Centre uses Drag & Drop because it is the easiest and most visual way to manage large quantities of stock. You drag items, groups of items or filtered lists from your Visual Stock Tree and drop them into the channels you want to sell them. Visual Stock Tree is the central information store for your core stock with all of the details about each product.
Flexible product options to suit each channel
Many retailers may wish to sell a product across multiple channels, but at a different price, some even like to change the product name. Connect allows you to do this, as such maximising the selling potential for your stock, giving the retailer the flexibility they need.
- You can have different display names for products in different channels
- You can have specific prices for different channels
- You can reserve stock back for any channel, so for example stop selling only when there are 2 products left in stock.
Managing orders centrally
When orders are downloaded, Connect will automatically allocate stock to them. This will ensure channels are notified of current stock levels in real-time and stops overselling. This can be important if you sell on multiple eCommerce channels. For example, if you receive an order from your website in the evening when no-one is around to allocate it and pick it, the system needs to tell your other websites that there is one less in stock. Connect does this for you.

- Central fulfillment. The Multichannel Fulfillment Centre brings together all of your orders for centralised Pick, Pack and Dispatch. Means you have an ultra efficient system for fulfilling your orders no matter where they come from. When you dispatch an item, Connect automatically updates eBay for you.
- Central reporting. See where your profits are coming from as well as trends, fast and slow movers. You can report centrally across all channels or individually.
- From within Connect, central discount schemes can be applied across all channels for speed and simplicity, or across individual channels and individual products.
- Central reordering. Combines sales analysis from what you sell on EBay alongside other channels. Connect presents recommended items in your orders based on what you have sold. Or create a new order using the product catalogue in Connect.
- Central finances. All your VAT information in one place can save a lot of money on bookkeeping and accounting. Optional integration with Sage if required.

Accounting - count on Connect, fast and accurate
The Connect System calculates VAT on a product level. At the end of each financial period just click a button and the accounts information is provided for you to send to your accountant or use in any accounts package. This saves hours so you can get on with something more useful and probably more enjoyable! We can also link in to Sage.
A wide variety of reports are available. The clever and unique thing is that you can run them from any part of the Visual Stock Tree, so drill in to a specific area of your business, or zoom out for a more general look at performance.
Your suppliers are set up so that you can quickly create items and re-order stock. The minimum order values and carriage costs can be set for each supplier. Connect will use this to help you reorder most efficiently.
