Intelligent Retail is the first company to design a computer and point of sale (PoS) solution specifically around the needs of the specific UK independent retailers, starting with the giftware sector. We prefer to look at it as a business management system because it helps in so many areas of the business.

Giftware Connect is developed by a team that includes an independent gift shop owner, a qualified business analyst who trained at Harrods and a specialist computer development company with 17 years experience and an MBA qualified business manager with strong record of business success and turning businesses around.

It came about because, the owners of an independent giftware shop identified many ways to improve the business through IT. However a suitable product could not be found. So, Intelligent Retail was founded and we developed our own. It is now helping many shops across the UK reap the rewards of improved profitability from increased revenue and reduced costs. As the team expanded we have moved into new sectors with brand new products for Nursery and Homeware retailers. Each of the products is based on the intelligent retail platform, but has been designed around how these different retailers operate their businesses.
