Greeting card price codes

Price codes (shown on the reverse of a card as KK, 220 etc) are used to make it easier for retailers to manage pricing and avoid having to use price stickers on each item. In Greetings Connect each card can have its price code tagged to it. When it is scanned at the till, Connect will know the price group and give the correct price accordingly. Greetings Connect also allows the retailer to change the price for each price code making it quick and easy to manage prices for hundreds of cards at once.

Reordering and replenishment. Intelligent, yet flexible!

Connect has an intelligent reorder engine that analyses sales flow as well as minimum stock quantities to suggest a re-order profile for you. Then you can print off orders for each supplier in a click. It's that fast. Stock replenishment is designed the way smaller retailers really want it to work. Quick, simple yet flexible.

Greeting cards supplier integration

Greetings Connect links with many Card Suppliers to make it easier for you, here is how it helps:

Barcodes on tap

From the moment you scan an unknown barcode you know there is work to do before you can sell the product at the till. Greetings Connect gives you the possibility of matching that barcode against a supplier's database of products to find a match. If a match is found, the product is brought in to your own database. Where the Price Code is available, Greetings Connect will then automatically price that item with the price you set for the price code, eg. KK = £1.95, and this will override the RRP! Makes it very easy to sell new items.

Management reports: to make better decisions

Fast, reliable tills

Greetings retailers have strong peaks in trade, and it is important that at these peak times the tills are fast and reliable. Greetings Connect uses a 'Smart Client' architecture that is the very best for modern Greetings retailers. Smart Client means the till is a self contained unit, not reliant on any outside connection so is faster and more reliable. However when broadband is available it talks to the central database for real time communication, updates and backups. This gives you the very best mix of reliability, speed and communication in a modern retail system.

Improved customer service

All staff have the Visual Tree to look up any product and get information to answer customer queries better. Customer loyalty schemes are also available to improve customer retention.

Sending situations

You can 'Tag' Sending Situations in Greetings Connect to track sales and see your best performing items within each one, as well as understanding the most important for your particular business, or shop location.

True multichannel with real time stock management

Lots of companies say they do multichannel EPoS but Intelligent Retail started in response to the needs of retailers wanting a simple to use multichannel system that operates the shop and website. True multichannel means fully integrated website and epos, not a bolt-on that doesn't work all that well. In Greetings Connect your website is fully linked with your EPoS. Orders come into the till for Pick, Pack and Dispatch. Your product information naturally flows between shops, website and back office so you are always up to date and not overselling or underselling stock lines. With Greetings Connect you get access to thousands of barcodes. Means you don't need to add as many barcodes yourself, saving hours of time. You can change the cost price or change the retail price in bulk.
